Hello,
Dominick John Guccione (1888-1959) was born in Musolmeni, Sicily. His family was originally Roman. He came to the United States at age 14 and by dint of hard work, great integrity and gregariousness became a success and eventually helped educate a considerable number of young relatives. I am his stepson. I have dedicated a short novel, Saraceno, to his memory. His family includes a number of distinguished members, including the famed miler Jim Beatty. Saraceno's authenticity is a direct result of the knowledge of Sicilian history and culture that I acquired through Dominick Guccione and his family. I invite you to read it to celebrate this interesting man and to view my web site—wwwdjelloulmarbrook.com—for more information about Dominick and the book dedicated to him.
Very sincerely,
