Robyn:

Don't know of any book that as been done on
John and Susanna of Franklin County.

I too have seen the name of Wilhelm Gesell.
Last Fall, at State Libary at Harrisburg found in a Sell Family book Wilhelm's line.
He and his family migrated to the State of
Ohio. At this time, John Gesell married to
Veronica Eberly, parents of John Gsell who
married Susannah Rohrer is the farthest that
I have been able to find.

Have noticed that William and Maria's family
has been the most complete. Please send
Sarah's line and I will then send you what I
have on William's line.

Bradley, I have just come across a web page of
interest which tells about the Cell book I had
heard about. http://thefamilycelle.homestead.com/Celle.html
There is also a list of researchers who are following the
Gesell/Gsell spelling.

Just thought you might find something of interest there.

Hello,
my name is Christian G'SELL. I am living in Nancy (France) not far from Alsace.

My ancestors all lived in Alsace.
I know my genealogical tree up to 1513.
Do you know where your ancestors where living in Alsace.
I would be very happy to communicate.
Yours sincerely

Christian

Christian, My ggrandmother was named Gsell and followed the Gsell line to John Chrisopher Gsell. From a book concerning the Zug family are several references to Gsell/Gassell. In 1716 a Hans Gsell is living in Trippstadt near Wilensteinerhof, and in 1688 a Johannes Gassell is mentioned concerning a rental property witnessed by Peter Zug. The Zugs married into my Gsell family. I have no conclusive evidence this is my Gsell family but do think there may be connections. I would be interested in your family lines to compare names etc.
