Peter, your note was dated 1999. Are you still interested in finding GREBOS relatives? Have you tried surnames like GRYBOS and GREBAS and GRYBAS?

Do you have any idea which state or county your GREBOS family should be in? When? Even the vaguest info would help. :)

My great grandmother's maiden name was believed to be Johanna Grybos (Pittsburgh, PA)

I too have been looking for family with the name Grebas or variations thereof. I was born at a home for unwed mothers in 1954 in Kansas City. My birth mother's name was listed as Christine Grebas. She had an invalid father and one living brother. One brother had died at the age of 10 by accidental drowning. I don't know what state she might have come from. She was Catholic and liked gardening. She won medals for high school swimming.

Hi, Lisa. I'm glad we found each other too. I'm working on finding more about my birthfather which won't be easy. I'm hoping to utilize National Geographics new DNA test. I have to work on a trip to Chicago to meet Tina and Bruce.
