Hi my name is Janet Grube-Burns my Dad is Tommy Wayne Grube His Father's name was Lee Enos Grube.LEE was born in 1907in Shaberg,Ark.to William E.and Sidney (Lane)Grube.William and Sidney had 5 other kids besides Lee.4 girls named Elizabeth Mitchell,Pauline Hazlett,Waneta Davis,and Susie Shay,and a son named Doyle Grube.Lee was Married to Dorothy Pearl Evans and my dad was their only son.Lee and Dorothy lived in Blackwell,Ok.They are both buried at Braman cemetery.If anyone can give me any other info, I would appreciate it very much.

Lee Enos Grube was born Sept. 24, 1907 and died Oct. 9, 1993 in OK. He was the son of William Enos Grube ( born Apr. 24, 1884 in Arkansas; died Nov. 17, 1964 in OK ) and Sidney “Sid” Stella Lane ( born Feb. 26, 1886 in Arkansas; died Apr. 19, 1976 in OK )..
William and Sidney were married Oct. 14, 1906.
The children of William and Sidney Grube are:

Marie - born abt. 1909
Infant - born 1910; died June 3, 1910
Susan - born Sept. 6, 1912; married unknown Shay
Elizabeth - born Mar. 17, 1914; married unknown Mitchell
Doyle N. - born May 4, 1916; died July 19, 1995 in Ill; married Dorothy Stuever
Pauline - born Sept. 28, 1920; married unknown Hazlett
Juanita Lavina - born Oct. 28, 1924, died Aug. 4, 2000; married Billy Buck Davis in 1977

William Enos Grube ( 1884-1964 ) was the son of Enos Hinkle Grube ( born Nov. 23, 1849 in PA; died Mar. 3, 1935 in Kansas ) and Claressa (Yelles) Grube ( born May 11, 1848 in PA; died Sept. 28, 1895 in Arkansas ).

World War 1 Draft Registration signed June 12, 1918: William Enos Grube; Avant, Osage County, OK; age 34 born April 24, 1884; oil laborer at Wolverine Oil Company, Avant, OK; nearest relative - Sidie Stella Grube at same address as his. William was medium height and build with black eyes and dark hair.

Enos H. Grube (1849 - 1935) was the son of William H. Grube 1823 - 1895 PA and Sarah Anna (Hinkel) Grube 1824 - 1893 PA.

Your Waneta Grube you have listed is my father's mother Juanita Grube. She passed in 2000 from pneumonia after having surgery from stomach cancer or some type of cancer around the abdomen. Her name changed to Juanita Lavina Grube Davis. Here is her obit. My dad is Dale Alkire. I assume u are wanting just the grubes, but if you need more info, email alkirejamie@gmail.com.Osage County, Oklahoma, Obituary: JUANITA LAVINA GRUBE Davis she also gave two kids up for adoption. They are non-identical by the name of Shelley Tilly and Kelly Starr Walker. They lived in Cali, but moved to Texas about 6 years ago, maybe more. They are super nice. JUANITA LAVINA GRUBE DAVIS

OCNs - August 7, 2000 - Juanita Lavina Grube Davis, 75, a life long
resident of the Pawhuska, Oklahoma area has been a Wynona, Oklahoma
resident for the last several years.

Juanita was born October 28, 1924 in Avant, Oklahoma, the daughter of
William Enos and Sadie (Lane) Grube and attended the Shidler, Oklahoma
schools. She passed away August 4, 2000 in The St. John's Medical Center
in Tulsa, Oklahoma following an extended illness.

Juanita was married November 3, 1977 in Pawhuska, to Billy Buck Davis who
precededed her in death on December 1, 1994.

She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Pershing, Oklahoma and a
member of the American Legion Auxillary.

Surviving are eight children: Belva Randolph of Kaw City, Oklahoma;
Elizabeth Cheney of West Memphis, Arkansas; Marcine Cooper and Mary Jane
Moore of Wichita, Kansas; John Alkire and Stella Rose Alkire of Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma; Dale Lee Alkire of Webb City, Oklahoma and Billy Alkire of
Pawhuska; a sister, Pauline Hazlett of Pawhuska; eighteen grandchildren,
eleven step-grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Juanita was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Alkire and Everett Alkire.

Services were held Monday, August 7, 2000 in The Johnson Funeral Home
Chapel with burial in The Pawhuska Cemetery with Reverend John White
officiating.

Johnson Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
