Looking for verification on James Thomas Grubbs, son of Benjamin Grubbs and Sarah Tucker. He is listed as a son in Family 235, Southeastern District in the 1850 census of Hanover County and his age is 4. He is listed as a son in Family 454, Saint Paul’s Parish in the 1860 census of Hanover County and his age is 13.

I have seen him referenced as marrying Willie Ann Baskett and both being interred in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia. If he is the husband of Willie Ann, his birthdate has shifted to April, 1849 in Family 210 the 1900 census of Marshall Ward, Richmond. His birthdate is given as October 10, 1850 on his marker in Hollywood Cemetery.

There is another James T. Grubbs who was in the 4th VA. Cav., Co. G, Hanover Troop and is interred in a private cemetery in Rockville, Hanover County, no dates given.

I show several James Grubbs in central Virginia, is it possible some of the info has been mixed together??
