I hit a snag in my tree early on. My dad doesn't know much about his grandparents except they were born in Poland, which isn't even true! They were born in Germany. I am trying to find my great-grandparents. My grandfather was Thomas J Grover born in Pennsylvania in 1908, married to Dorothy Jackson. My grandfathers parents were both born in Germany. Any suggestions on how to go about this? I am brand new to this and have been searching high and low for them.
