I am also related to Valentine Gross through Carl Gross, his son Ralph was my grandfather. My Grandmother told me that they had Valentines Diary. That it was in German and that one day they would like to have it translated. I don't know where this diary is, Grandpa and Grandma have passed away. They did say that Valetine's last name changed when he went through Elis Island. From Grofs to Gross. I too am stuck. I can not find his parents information. IF any one has this please let me know.
