My grandmother is looking for her dad's family and I said I would use my acct. to help her. Her dad's name was Walter Groner and her mom was Marie, no known maiden name. Dad was born in Canada and mom was a US citizen. They had four children John Walter, Duane, Helen, and my gramms, Marion. They believe that Walter's family changed their name when they migrated from Canada. Not sure why. Rumor in the family believe that it was Grover or Kroner, but no one knows for sure. His dad they know was born in Silverwood Michigan and had 2 brothers. One died in Canada on VJ or VE day? and no information is known about the other. This is all I have, but anyone with information would be very helpful!
