It is my desire to establish whether or not my Grogg line is related to the Solomon Grogg line. My ancestors were Philip Grogg (b.1773) and his father Henry. There have been various speculations about Henry's ancestry but nothing that seems conclusive to me. These men and families lived in Pendleton Co., VA (now WVA). Some believe that Henry went to VA from PA and could have been related to Solomon's line. The only way that I know to find out is by a DNA test. So I am trying to find a male Grogg of the Solomon line who would be willing to have a DNA test done. I would be willing to cover the cost as it would help me in my research.
