Dave Stott-please contact me directly. This last poster was I believe passed about later that year and I have a lot of info. Myhusband's Grobens came over late 1800s. There are many still living. Bill's mother died 1995, but I have a lot of her info.

Is there any connection between the spellings GrAben and GrOben?? My husband's ancestor, Louis Graben, came over from Germany in the early 1850s. I have been unable to find him on an immigration list so far BUT Mr. Stott, I did find your brothers Nicolas and Theodore listed on the Castle Garden web site under the spelling GRABEN.
