There is a Walter C Groat who is the son of Burton Lucius Groat and who married 1) Sarah E Parker d/o Sidney Parker * Elizabeth A___. I am completely positive that his middle name is Clark, given the naming similarity and the dedication that my family had for using ancestral nomenclature when naming their children. But has anyone seen a record in which that name is spelled out as Clark? Or are there descendants of Burton hanging around here who have heard "Clark" as Walter's middle name who can lend their anecdotal support for my theory? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
