David: There are hundreds of GRIZZLE men with the Christian name "James."

There were many in Lumpkin/Union County, Georgia named James GRIZZLE...

Some of them were born the same year....

Now, that I have encouraged you..{cough..grin}..

There was a James, born 1799 in Virginia. He came to Georgia, married and died in Gwinnett County in 1845.

I believe he was married to Mary RAY.

It remains to be proven.

I have a marriage listed for this couple. The date is:
28 Dec 1826...Warren County, Georgia.
