I am looking for information on Maurice O Griswold. According to an entry on Find-a-grave.com, Maurice is buried in Canton Street Cemetery at Canton, Hartford, CT.

Maurice was a Union soldier during the Civil War. Per his headstone he was a “Q.M Sergt.” With “Co M US Cav”. Also per the headstone, Maurice died 12 August 1896.

Does anyone have information on Maurice? I’m especially interested in his parents, as I am trying to determine if he is my Maurice Griswold. Does anyone know the names of Maurice’s parents?
