I got a copy of a bible that belonged to William Grinsteads, the dates, etc. are exactly the same as the William Grinstead that I have that I am pretty sure is the father of John Grinstead. However, there is one discrepancy. This William Grinstead married Elizabeth Lowry in 1832, she died in 1833 and he married a Mary Moore in 1836. All information I have shows that William married a Mary Lane after Elizabeth died, I also have that Sarah and William were chidren of Elizabeth, Sarah has the correct date of birth (one day off) but William Jr. was born in 1842 which would make him the son of Mary Lane or Mary Moore (unless they are one and the same person).
