I'm looking for information on the Grinsteads of Person County between about 1800 and 1845. A Reuben Grinstead appears in the tax records around 1805 and I believe he died around 1845. His daughter Elizabeth Pethindy Grinstead married Leonard Henderson Oakley in 1824 and moved to Tennessee by 1850.
