I am looking for help in locating my dad's family. i know that my dad was Edward Albert Grimes. His father was Walter Grimes and his mother was Ella Payton Grimes. I think my dad's grandmother (his dad's mother) was Elijah Sander's sister. My father was from Birmingham, Alabama. I know that he had brothers and sisters, but I do not know their names. My mom and dad divorced shortly before I was born. I met my dad once about 1974. I did not get any of the family history. He was married to a lady named Euva at the time I met him. They were living in Fairfield, Alabama. I think he said that he had a brother named Johnny that lived in Florida.
