1) Alfredo Del Grillo was sent to Himare, Albania from the governor of Corfu sometime in 1420 as a captain to recruit soldiers.

2) George Grillo a merchant from Venice was captured hostage at the sea by the Saracens in 1745. His merchandise was looted but he was able to escape together with the rest of the crew.

The document resides in the archives of state in Albania.
We are the only descendant Grillo family in Albania.
