Hi, I haven't participated on the list in a couple of years but if anyone is interested, I do have most of the lines of the Francois Gregoire family, ascending and descending with the siblings but less once we get into the 1920's. and agreed, from 1980's on is becoming a nightmare to figure who's who!!! and also a lot of verbal family history that I enjoy sharing off-list...

From about Gregoire Gregoire and Hercule Alexis's generation, we are looking at about 4 main areas of immigration in our Gregoire family: Red River area in Manitoba,Can, the Beauce region in Quebec to across the border in Ill., Mass and a couple more eastern states but little out west, and the clan's main home base in the Lanaudiere region (Joliette, st.Cuthbert,St.Esprit etc)with those who move to Montreal in the 1880 to 1920 but still kept attachment to Joliette.
