My name is Dennis Dean Greer and I am the Great Great Grandson of Alvin Tinsley Greer and I am trying to find out more about my Alvin and his ancestors of the past.I went back as far,in this country to 1683 Maryland to a Archibald Greer,I was told he was not a grandfather but a grand uncle.But his grandson was James P.or L Greer and that was Alvin's father,so I am a bit confused.I sure would appreciate it if I could get some more information.Thank you for your time
