Im looking for any relatives of the African American Greers also spelled Griers located in Anderson, Belton and sourounding areas. From as far as I can go back the Greer/Grier have been here since about 1825. Here is a list of some of them.

Harrison Greer born 1854 is my ggggrandfather.He married Amanda Lewis born 1858. Thier children where Enoch Grier 1883, Oscar 1875, Earline 1884, Robert 1897, Luozia 1856, William 1882, Fester 1894, Charley 1859, ET 1896, Clarence 1898, James 1891,and one unknow Greer6/12.
Enoch my gggrandfather married Ola Mae Ware Robinson who had children from a previous marriage; Ester Robinson 1892, Nettie Robinson 1894, Nathaniel Robinson. Enoch had a step son perhaps the son of one of Ola's daughters named Jim Robinson. He took his stepgrandfathers name Greer. Jim Greer is my greatgrandfather. His true father I have no documeted proof of as of yet.
