Lois L. Brown, 82, of Roachdale, Ind., died at 7:20 a.m., September 22, 2005, in Danville Regional Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.
She was a homemaker.
Born August 11, 1923, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of William H. Green and Lola Ruby Taylor Green. She married George E. Brown on April 26, 1940, in Bellmore, Ind. He died June 27, 1989.
Survivors include six daughters, Sharen Singleton, Sona Brown, both of Avon, Ind., Marshia Stippich of Indianapolis, Judy Montgomery of Bargersville, Ind., Donna Bunn of North Salem, Ind., and Tracie Thinnes of Madison, Ind.; two sons, William R. Brown of Indianapolis and Ron E. Brown of Roachdale; five sisters, Cathy Balu of Clinton Falls, Ind., and Norma Martin of Greencastle, Ind., Colleen Fly of Indianapolis, Sue Detro of Greencastle and Barbara Ross of Martinsville, Ind.; three brothers, Lesly Green of Roachdale, Russell Green and Neil Green, both of Bainbridge; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, in New Maysville Christian Church, New Maysville, Ind., with Frank Bunn Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Roachdale Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale.
