Hi there!
Long story on how I am just now seeing and answering to all this, so I’ll just skip to the relative (no pun intended) info. Here goes:
My name is Mary Louise Kralicke I live in Texas.
My mother is Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Gravelle Kralicke, originally of Two Harbors, Mn.
Daughter of Art Gravelle (NOT Pickles) and Estelle Peacore Gravelle of Two Harbors, and sister of John (Dick), Virginia and Kathy.
My mom’s maternal grandfather was a Peacore.
Her paternal grandfather, Gravelle, was married to Amelia Gervais.
My mother, Betty, is the only Minnesotan who came south, at least until later when people headed to Fla.
She met my Dad, Dr. Martin Kralicke, when she was in nursing school in Chicago and he was in Med. School at Loyola. I guess he always wanted to be a cowboy, so we came to Texas in 1954, when I was a wee babe. I have an older brother, Steve, and older sister Margaret, as well as 3 younger siblings: Laura, Dianne and Elizabeth.
I also had an older brother, John, born in Chicago, who died shortly after birth. There is a total of 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Uncle Dick married Greta and had 3 daughters, Virginia (Aunt Ginna, who is deceased) had 6 children and Kathy, born when my mom was 16, has 3 boys. Of course, we’re all middle-aged now.
My father died 7 years ago. Betty is 87 and lives by herself in Muenser, Tx, where my dad was the town doctor.
I have some pics I can send as soon as I find a scanner, if you’d like. I always wanted to visit up north, mainly to see what it would be like to be around relatives. My dad, being the only doctor around, was unable to get away much, and if he and Mom did, they didn't want to travel with 6 kids!
I named my daughhter Amelia, after her great-great grandmother. I didn’t change my name when married (and now divorced) but have always gone by my surname, Kralicke. I am a theatre teacher in Irving, Tx, a suburb of Dallas.
I know my mom’s cousin Bob had all the genealogy info for years, but after he passed, we weren't sure who became the one in charge.
If you have any questions, ask them asap as my mom is slowly creeping into senility. However, she does remember the past much better than something she did 5 minutes before. There are lots of pictures with folks I hope someone can help identify.
My email is

I saw where Jeanie was in touch. She has visited us in Texas a few times.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Mary
