Hudson's Bay Company Chief Trader, Richard Grant
married(1) Marie Ann Breland and had two surviving sons, Johnny/John F. Grant (of Montana and Manitoba) and Stanislas Richard Grant (Montana)
married(2) Sara, aka Indian Woman at Oxford House and had one son, James Cuthbert Grant of Montana
married (3)Helen Kittson nee MacDonald Mar. 25,
1845 at Fort Vancouver. From her marriage with Kittson, Helene had a daughter, Jemima, who married William Sinclair III. Helene and Grant had three daughters: Julia Priscilla Grant married Christopher Higgins (children: Hilda, Francis G, George C., Arthur E., Ronald, Gerald); Aldelina/Adeline Grant married Lachlin McLaurin; Helene Grant, died young, umarried, without children. These daughters grew up in Idaho & Montana.
