I am looking for relatives to following persons who emigrated from Sweden 1879-1890. All of them lived in Minnesota, Minneapolis. Their names are, Frederik; Johannis Julius; Gustaf Wilhelm; Carl Johan Graaf. They are brothers, and their fathers name was Johan Erik Graaf who lived in Kristinehamn; Sweden. I know that Gustaf Wilhelm had a son named Lloyd Winefield Graaf and his grandson, William Lloyd Graaf.
William Lloyd may have a daughter named Lana.
Johannis Julius children, Arthur and (possibly Raymond)
Frederiks children may be Emmet?
Any information about these emigrants would be interesting

We are trying to locate descendants, in Sweden or the USA, of Karl Birger Graaf', born 1877 in Filipstad who was the son of Karl Johan Graff, born 1846 in Varnum. Karl Birger moved with his family to Kristinehamn. His father and mother, two sisters and brother Anton moved to the USA. We know the ancestors of the sisters who moved to the USA, and Anton was my husband's father. This is in answer to the query of larseric Graaf on 13 Jan 2002.

My father was William Lloyd Graaf. His father was Lloyd Winfield Graaf and his father was Gustaf Wilhelm Graaf from Kirstenham. Gustaf had 5 siblings according to what I have found, including Fredrick and Karl Johan. The timing of their immigration seems to fit also.

Hello,

I am not certain if I have the correct Wilhelm Graaf, but could you tell me if this is the Graaf that lived in New Jersey around the 1770s?

He had a daughter named Dorothy I believe
