Do you have a birth date? I have a few Anna Graaf's in my line with parents and birth dates or at least birth years but no husbands.

thanks for responding!
because anna maria sofia died at a young age, leaving 3 daughters of which my mother was the youngest, i do not have any info of her.

all i have is one photo with her name on it.

she was married to henry lemly nell. she must have died around 1929/1930. my mother was born in 1927 and she was too small to remember.

i don't know if she had brothers or sisters.

this is a total mystery. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

many many thanks.

I'm so sorry to disappoint you but 1827 is the latest date that any of my Anna Graaf's were born. Was she born in Africa? All my Graaf's were born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

Tersia, I know nothing about researching in Africa but I assume you have tried to find Anna's marriage record that might list her birthdate and parents names?

I have quite a few Graaf's in my tree born in the 1600's & 1700's where I only have birth dates and sometimes marriages and some children so if you ever find out Anna's parents names and if they came from Schleswig-Holstein let me know and I'll see if anything matches then.

Good luck - I know how difficult this can be!!
