Margaret "Peg" L. Jagusch, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 14, 1945, to Leonard and Sylvia L. (Faris) Gozdowski.

Margaret worked as a Custodian for twenty years before retiring from the University of Toledo.

She is survived by her sisters, Sharon Lewis, Sue Coleman, and Linda (John) Booth; brothers, Leonard C. and Mark (Rochelle) A. Gozdowski; step daughter, Kim (Brian) Inkrott; 11 nieces and nephews; as well as her dear friend, Jackie Ritzenthaler.

Friends will be received today, May 2, 2013, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. in Neville Funeral Home, Reynolds Corners Chapel, 5052 Dorr Street in Toledo where funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may do so to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the Toledo Area Humane Society.

I know your response was posted a very long time ago, but my great grandfather was from Poland. It so happens that my grandfather was born illegitimately from his father from Poland (Prussia at the time, as he said). My grandfather is dead and I want to find my family origins.
My grandfathers full name was Matthew Aloyisis (spelling may be wrong, he spelled it differently than what was on his birth certificate) Gozdowski.

hi my name is cathy my husbeen name is slisz and we know that kasper had a bouther named michael but can not seem to find out what happem to him my husbeen side of the falily did not tell him much albout the slisz side of the family so we have very little to go on his grande dad is andrew slisz he was born 1919 and his g.grande dad was name max slisz and was born 1887 at lest that what him grand kids called him . if you can help us at all i would be great full

I am looking for any information on Stella (Gozdowski) who married Arthur Lake, son of Carrie Belle BRIDGES and Charles LAKE. Stella and Arthur lived in Niagara Falls, NY in 1930. He was a pressman in a printing plant. Arthur was born in 1909 in Michigan, prob Battle Creek.

I am looking for information about a George (Adalbert) Gozdowski that was born in Poznan 1885 and came to this country in 1901 He was born in Gozdow or Gozdowo which I understand is Strelzno now any help would be appreciated

Do you have email address, mailing address or phone # for Leo Godzowski in Toledo, OH.? I'm looking for information on Casimir Gozdowski who passed away in Toledo on Sep. 19, 1952. Specifically, I'm looking for the high school he attended in Toledo. He played professional football & we are missing this information in the data base. Thanks for your help. My name is Darek Gozdowski, I live in Poland (I was born here in 1973) near Warsaw (70 km).
I'm sorry but I don't know where you can start your searching in poland. (I have never interested in my family genaology so I don't know to much about it)
In Poland contemporary are 600 people with lastname Gozdowski,(according publications which I saw in National Polish Library). Most of them live in central Poland (Warsaw and Lodz region) and in Wielkopolska (Poznan region)
Its everything what I know.

I saw your postings in the LDS and thought that we may share some common relatives.....My Andrysiaks settled in the South Bend area .....Joseph And married Antonia Banach and in 1884 gave bith to my Gran mother Mary Andrysiak.....Mary married Casper Slisz had 9 kids including my Mom Evelyn....

Would be happy to forward my file if you would like to see....Most interested in finding out where my Andrysiak's came from in Posen....do not know the villiage name ....
