In response to Joan Runnels query about
Chesta Mae Goza Thomas: I am a descendant
of one of her brothers, Granville B.Goza.

My mother died when I was 18 months old so I was raised by my grandmother, Chesta Mae Goza Thomas. I would be interested in any information on any of her relatives.

Dear Joan:

I have lots of information on your grandmother.
My mother was Bonnie Goza Harrell and she was
your grandmother's niece. I do not have the
information computer ready, but I could send it
via e-mail or snail mail. Send me your e-mail
to gallen@arkansas.net.

Isn't this neat? I have tried for years to find the Gozas in Kansas and no one responded. I think your
link to the Arkansas Gozas would have been John Goza. He was a brother to
Granville and Chesta (aka Chester). I am tied up the next few weeks but will get back to you as soon as I can. I think I can help you!

I was born in Alicia, Ark., Dec of 1956. I am brand new to this so, please bare with me. My father is Ray Melvin Goza. Born 3/09/12. His brothers are Leonard, Jadie, Cletos Arkey. He had 1 sister that I know of (Daphney). All are deceased including Dad! I would like to trace my family back as far as possible. I know their are several Gozas in North East Arkansas. I would appreciate any information.

I live in Fillmore, Ca. Have since I was 11 months old. We did move to live in Swifton, Ark. in 1968 -1969. I would love to hear from anyone that remembers me.

Do you have a copy of "A Brief History and Lineage Charts of the Goza Family in America, 1637 - 1980" by Joe A. Goza of Calera, Oklahoma? Aaron's downline is shown in this book.
