I am interested in finding out about my family history. The last person we know of is Paul Franklin Goza, who lived in Sacramento. I have no idea where to go from there. If you have any information, please let me know. Thank you.

Geri, I too have some information on Goza's. My relationship to them is through Colemans. My gg-grandmother was Narcissa Augusta Goza. Narcissa's parents were John Goza and Martha Lum (Goza). Narcissa was married to Richard Henry Coleman. I have some Goza material. Do you think we have relatives in common?
Would enjoy hearing from you. My E-mail is Aunt Minta@aol.com. Micki

My mother's maiden name was Goza. Her folks were
from Cape Girardeau, Mo and St. Louis. There were
some Goza's there about 18 years ago, but
we have no contact with them. Also, there were
8 children in my mom's family with most of the
sibling in St. Louis, near Chicago and Minn.

There is also a large extended Goza family in
southern Illinois. I don't know much about them
other than they are African-American and under
stand they were having a yearly family reunion
in recent years.

There is a Goza book written by Joe Goza from Oklahoma. He has since died. There is a copy of this in the Genealogy library in Houston, Tx. It is about 150 pages and seems to be fairly accurate.
