Hello out there!? There are several people on my father's side (Louis W Goz) from Brooklyn, NY that my sister and I trying to reach. He never stayed in touch with his Jewish relatives and now that we are in our late 20's it would be really nice to connect with some of our cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. please post response if anyone knows of a Goz or one that married a Goz. Only my sister and I are left and we don't want our name lost forever after marriage. Hope to hear from someone! Peace and love to all.

Surnames: Goz/Guz
My great-grandmother was Elka Goz or Guz. The family was from Rovno/Rivne in what is now Ukraine. There were many Goz/Guz brothers. Some descendants live in Israel, others in America and Western Europe.

I'd be delighted to hear from you.

DK.

My family's surname was Goz until 1854 when my gggrandfather came to the US via New Orleans and somehow they changed the spelling to Goez.

My roots are from near Stuttgart, Germany in Lauffen.
