John was my gg grandfather. Through reunion records made in the 50's, they say that he was born in Zanesville Ohio but that the family came from Mercerburg PA. Anyone have info?

I have the Goyer book that was written in the 50's. I also have added on to that history with pictures, cemetery records, maps, etc. and have included notes and secretary reports from the Goyer reunions dated back to 1896. We still have these reunions every June and usually are held at our home. John Germanicus Goyer Married to Julia Ann Lovin, was brother to our gg grandfather, Vespasian Goyer. I tryed sending you an email but it was returned. If you contact me we can share information.

I am trying to contact Maxine Brewer about her Goyer book. John Goyer was my great grandfather. One of his children, Nancy Olive Goyer, was my grandmother. She gave birth to my father, Germanicus William Alexander, who was named after John Germanicus Goyer and William Alexander. Would appreciate any information.

I'm working on our Pastor's Family history and read your post. His name is "William Stephen Goyer" and his family migrated out of Pennsylvania to Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.
I think his GG-Grandfather was Daniel Goyer b.1811 Pa married to Frances Julia Ann Keller. His son was John Taylor Goyer. Does any of this match anything you have found? Are you still holding reunions?
Would like anything you have on this branch of the Goyer family and I will be glad to send you what I have on this Southern Branch.
Thank You for a response,
Bill J.
