Antonia,
Can you give me your grandmothers parents names
I don't have her name in my research. all the Goyco's
in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and in the USA
are in some way related, lets keep in touch.
Gerónimo was the son of a Russian and a Montenegro (Yugoslavia).
he was born in Bocca di Cattaro en Montenegro or in Italy at the frontiers with
Yugoslavia... He reaches America with other Russian immigrants, Australians,
and Serbs it is estimated that he arrived around 1798 to 1800 the at the west coast of Puerto Rico between Cabo Rojo and Mayagüez.
Then he married a Dolores Cebollero natural from Spain she was the sister
of Spanish Captain who's name is Jose Antonio Cebollero
they had nine children
Felipe Goicovich Cebollero
Pedro Gerónimo Goicovich Cebollero
Justo Goicovich Cebollero
José Goicovich Cebollero
Ramón Goicovich Cebollero
Jorge Goicovich Cebollero
Enrique Goicovich Cebollero
Horocia Goicovich Cebollero
Dolores Goicovich Cebollero
these documents where obtained from a letter directed to Sr. José Daubón,
the uncle of a Jorge A. Goyco Daubon (father of Rafael A. Goyco Fulladosa).
the letter was written by Pedro G. Goyco De Juan. This letter also said that one of Gerónimos sons by the name of Justo married a lady with the surname Cebollero (A cousin of Gerónimos wife and they had three children )
Justo Goicovich y Cebollero
Genaro Alfredo Goicovich y Cebollero
Ramón G. Goicovich y Cebollero
The second son Genaro Alfredo, married Virginia Pesante.

the Dominican Republic where he became the roots of the Goycos from the Dominican Republic. Pedro Gerónimo Goicovich is the roots of the Goycos of Puerto Rico.
and from him became the change from Goicovich to Goyco for all the Goycos in
Puerto Rico.
