I am the granddaughter of Walter Goward, he had many brothers, to name a few: George, Edward, William, and a sister Juanita. I know very little about them. I think a ggrandmother's name is Nellie Bright? Perhaps you have information of this family? email me at petra61994@sbcglobal.net

It's with great interest that I've found this site.
My mother is a Goward and we still live in Norfolk
My father's research goes back a further generation to yet another George (died 1701) married Susan (died 1713) parents of the George that married Isabel.

The www.webster-family.org/genealogy/goward website tracks this very well except for claiming that Francis (1760-1847) is the son of George (III)(born 1740) when they were in fact brothers (George didn't marry til 1764)

Susanna (1795 is my direct ancestor having a son Robert, 4 years before she married.)

Happy to share more details.

I'm intrigues at the link with the U.S.
All I know at present is that it begins with Richard Goward so please help!

Thanks - Ian
