I have now connected to the Govers through my ancestors. William Gover 1568 - 1610 is my 9th Great Grandfather - married to Agnes Osment. Their son Thomas I can see was a church warden at Corfe. The name seems to change to Govier later when they are based at Brill in Buckinghamshire.
