Florence Easton Goubeaud 

Florence “Becky” Easton Goubeaud, 90, of Baden, formerly of Evans City, died Sunday morning at Beaver County Medical Center, Beaver.

Born Aug. 8, 1911, in Criders Corner, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary White Easton.

She was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church of Evans City, the VFW Auxiliary Post 165 of Ambridge and the Senior Citizens’ Group of Baden.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Ruth) Lantz of Portersville and Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Slingluff of Baden; and two brothers, Frank Easton of New Castle and Ray Easton of Freedom. Nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Goubeaud, who died March 9, 1982; a son; a brother; and five sisters.

GOUBEAUD - Friends of Florence “Becky” Goubeaud, who died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at KINSEY-VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, Evans City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Park, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Evans City Cemetery.

(The obit ran in Butler County, Pennsylvania; but, I have no idea which newspaper.)

Thank you, but the Goubeauds are not really my ancestors. This used to be my mother's account. She passed away and I took it over. The Goubeauds were in the family line of the man she lived with at the time of her death. She wasn't married to that man and he turned out to be a sociopath and a con-man, so I don't really have any interest in his family lines at this point. Sorry for her error in that info.
