Ok,

I have run into a family that I really am stuck with. I am trying to figure out where they fit into my families of Gorrells and VanMeters.

I have found a
Jacob VanMeter Gorrell 1836 and wife Nancy (Savire ?) (Monday ?) 1830
in Todd County, Kentucky

with these children
Abraham 1860
William 1862
Martha 1867
Joseph 1869
John VanMeter Gorrell 1873

Somewhere they had to have a Van Meter ancestor to name the child Jacob or John VanMeter Gorrell.

Any thoughts about this family >?
