The remains of William Marshall Goodwillie were brought here Wednesday from Woonsocket, South Dakota, by Mr. David Donaldson of Nebraska; the funeral services were held at the First church the same day; quite a large congregation were in attendence. He died of the grip after a short illness, aged about 86 years. Mr. Goodwillie was a brother of Mr. Donaldson's mother, Mildred Goodwillie Donaldson, of Jackson Township. He is a native of Vermont; his father and two brothers were ministers in the Associate church; now United Presbyterian, which he is a member.

William Marshall Goodwillie was the son of Rev. David Goodwillie and Beatrice Henderson Goodwillie and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Washington, Iowa. No known wife or children.
