Looking for information about the parents, siblings and/or slave holder of my great grandfather, Aesop Goodson. According to the 1870 census for Third Township, Richland, SC, Aesop was a 44 year old mulatto gun-wright from NC. His wife was Elvinia/Lavinia/Luvenia Howard, a mulatto from SC. Their 5 children were Aimey, Robert, Kazia, James and Theodore. Also on the 1870 census for the Fourth Township, Richland, SC were 3 mulatto Goodson children named Aesop (12 years old), Nopoleon (10 years old) and Paul (7 years old). Looking for information about their parents, siblings and/or slave holder. Somehow all these Goodsons must be related, but how?
