Kizzie Bates Walker was my 3rd great grandmother on my mother's father's side. I am a genealogist and I have been working on my mother's side, the Jones, since 1981. It has only been in the last 9 years that I was able to identify the parents of my 2nd great grandmother, Sallie/Sarah Walker Jones which led me to Kizzie. Unfortunately, I have not been able to identify Kizzie's parents or siblings or their last slave owner. I have been able to track my family's history forward in time using, among other things, census, birth, marriage, death and some land records. I am more than willing to swap and share family information if you are.
