I am the great-grand daughter of Eli J. Goodman, 15 Apr 1896 - 28 Jun 1973 of Searcy County, Arkansas. He is the son of Wesly Goodman and Ruth Ann Branscom. His gravestone from WW1 is marked with the Star of David, and there is much oral history about the Jewish roots of Eli. As he is a descendant of Ansel Goodman, I am wondering if you have any data regarding religious affiliation of the Goodman family? Also, do you know of a Goodman DNA registry?
