Cynthia is correct. From DNA results from at least two participants in the Goodman DNA project at FTDNA who give as their ancestry Bartlett or one of his sons, one of which was the Bartlett who later removed from SC where his father died, to KY then to IN. That line does not appear to be genetically related to the Benjamin Goodman line at all. The original presumption of that connection was probably based on common locations of both lines in the middle and late 1700s in Louisa Co., VA then to Bedford / Campbell Co., VA. However, based on the DNA test results, that now appears to be just a coincidence.
