George I married Deborah Walker 1686 and had four children. The last Dighton Goodings had no children. The last Mrs. Gooding willed the old Gooding home and other holdings to her favorite niece-Mrs. Dwight F. Lane. The Lanes had two daughters with Mr. Lane still living in 1949.
