I know only that my mother's father was Milton Luther Goode, and according to the 1930 census (Indianapolis, Indiana) he was born in VA. I have a photo taken in Oct., 1923 of two men, one holding my mother's hand, and he appears to be wearing what may be a US Navy work uniform, no insignia. My mother was born in NYC, 1921, and died April 25, 2008 without providing any additional information. Her mother was from Corry, PA. Please contact me directly if you have any information.
