Hi there. My name is Rebecca Goodall and I live in Norwich, Norfolk. I know the Goodall name is really popular so am having trouble finding anything out. My Grandfather was George Thomas Goodall but that's all I know.
He had 2 maybe 3 children with my Grandmother, one being my Dad (David Roy Goodall), but all children were put into care. My Dad saw him once or twice after his care (he went back to his Mum's at age 14), but lost track of him. He is definitely now deceased and we think this was probably between 1960 - 1980?
I'm not sure if my Grandmother ever married him and I also can't find any marriage certificates for them, just one belonging to my Grandmother and her late Husband. My Grandmother's name is Dorothy May Winter (Scales being her maiden name).
I'm guessing he was born between 1900 and 1920? My Uncle was the oldest and was born roughly in 1940? I'm guessing that George was born and bred in Norfolk but I'm not sure if this is where he stayed as after the children and the separation from my Grandmother, he came to see my Dad and said that if he didn't want to see him anymore, he would go. My Dad didn't know what to say and I don't think he even went to see him as my Grandmother advised him not to.
I'm guessing he went on to marry another lady and have children somewhere? Norfolk?
This is basically all I know. I would absolutely LOVE to find him, anything about him, and also to find his grave.

Any info you can give would be truly accepted gratefully.
