Does anyone have information about an Angie Golden of Vermont marrying a Byron Mitchell who emigrated from Canada to Vermont? m. circa mid-1800s

I am particularly interested to know the family background of Angie Golden. Was she of French ancestry, or German? (Mitchell was French) Was she Catholic? (Mitchell was Catholic) Trying to get some clarity for my family history; this couple were the parents of my Great-grandmother Mason.
