Probably not connected but I have a William Golden and Ann Whalen both born in Ireland. They both emigrated to Philadelphia. I do not know if they married in Ireland or Philadelphia. They had a daughter, Alice Elizabeth, born in Philadelphia in Jan. 1871. Ca. 1890 Alice Elizabeth married James Lincoln Welding, an immigrant from Canada. Any help with this family would be appreciated.
