BUCYRUS: Robert S. Goin, 72 of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away Thursday May 2, 2013 in Grant hospital, Columbus, Ohio following a very brief illness.
Robert was born March 15, 1941 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late Everett Goin Sr. and Emma Ruth (Bradshaw) Goin.
He was married in 1980 to Virginia (Cox) Goin who survives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Pastor Cecil Goin, Everett Goin Jr., sisters Esther Loftis, and Jane Brown and first wife Alva Wellman, mother of Chuck, Bobbie, Tina, and Jamie.
Robert is also survived by children Bobbie Butler, Bucyrus, Tina (Chris) Brown, Nevada, Charles (Emily) Goin, New Washington, Jamie Bish, Bucyrus, Josh (Birdie) Goin, Mansfield, Rodney Agin, Bucyrus, Kelly (Melissa) Agin, Bucyrus, Tami (Jerry) Crokie, Bucyrus, Dawn (Bill) Zeigler, Bucyrus; 35 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren.
Robert retired from National Lime and Stone and prior to moving to Bucyrus lived several years in Carrothers, OH.
He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool and spending time with his children.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Charles Brooks officiating, burial will be in Oceola Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 am until the time of service.
