I have some Goike's in my ancestry too. They came from Zarnowitz, Prussia, and settled in St. Cloud, Minnespota. My great-grandmother was Marianna Goik who married my Great grandfather Jacob Baran, also of Zarnowitz, in Feb 1873, and immigrated immediately thereafter, and settled in St. Cloud. Marrianna apparently had a brother John Goike, who also lived there. Do you have any more info on the origins of your Goike's ? Dave Faessel, Palm Desert CA

Re: Frank and Carolina Goike/Isoco County, MI
To Nancy Dillard,
Nancy, I have some pictures from about the '40s with names of De**m*r on the back...was trying to locate them in my picture boxes...unfortunately, my adopted dad/mother did not stay in touch with Tawas City family after my Grandma Clara Fiedler (Sonntag)'s death in 1967. When I find, I will post these full names. I don't have anything beyond the writing on the back, which was done by my father's brother Harold's wife, Ruth (Fiedler). Cannot locate anything about this couple, my last letter from them was shortly after my father (Wm.DarrowFiedler)'s sudden death from heart attack 11/83. This is when I received all these pictures (mostly of Harold), but some of extended family. Please email if I can be of any further assistance. Paula Fiedler
