Mary Elizabeth Gohagen Johnston was my grandmother. She died in 1910 and is buried at the Old Armour Cemetery in Limestone County, Texas. I know nothing of her geneology and anything anyone could tell me would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you looked for any Census info?
Do you have her husband?

Mary Elizabeth Gohagen from what a researched so far, was my Great Great Grandmother. She was the 2nd wife of David P. Johnston. They married around 1886 and had 8 children. The oldest, Alice Johnston was my Great Grandmother.

Cheryl,
I think Alice Johnston was the daughter of David P. Johnston and his first wife. Was Alice's husband Jeff McKennlas (sp) or _____ Hanna? If it was Jeff Mckennlas, I know that she and Jeff are burried in Forest Glade cemetery. I think the full brothers and sisters of Alice were Garland and Gladys. Then she had haf brothers and sisters, Pyburn, Artie, Ulys, Fay (my mother), and Glenn.
I will be interested in hearing from you.

Greetings Everyone,
I know this is an old thread of messages, but its new to me. My deceased grandfather's name is William Gohagen, but he is deceased now (complications from diabetes); I never got a chance to find out more about our family before him. I don't know if our family name 'Gohagen' is Dutch, German, Irish or other, but I'd sure like to. Kindly help if you can. Peace and blessings people.
