Looking for information on the ancestors of John Goff and Priscilla Standley married October 3, 1782 in Bedford. Believe that John is the father of Archibald Goff who married Polly Harrison ( daughter of Battaile) on March 29, 1810. I believe he had a sister Elizabeth Goff who married Christopher tolley December 21, 1818 in Bedford. Archibald had a daughter Ann Eliza who married Christopher Markham December 14, 1840 a daughter Melina who married William Campbell Jan 2, 1842, a daughter Frances who married Samuel Norcross July 21, 1846 and a daughter Lucy who married Andrew Spence December 19, 1849. If anyone has information- please reply. Thank you. D. Markham

I am interested in what information you might have on Frances P. GOFF. She is also related to my husband (not direct line). He is descended from Archibald and Polly (Harrison) GOFF. Thanks.

John Goff's 1833 Bedford Co., VA will names his wife (2nd) Priscilla, and all the children including Archibald. John was the son of John Goff whose will was recorded in Amherst Co., VA in 1782, and this John was the son of Thomas, son of William and Martha ?Baxter Goffe. Priscilla Stanley was Quaker and dismissed from the church for marrying a non-Quaker.
