Hi,
Your message about the Goeschl family has me very excited and curious. How do you have this information and how do we connect? Who is Xavier Goeschl and how is he related to Franz and Francis x. and Anna Maria Goeschl? I am full of questions and would appriciate any information you wish to share, Thanks, Kay Goeschl

Hi Carolyn,
My sis just sent me a copy of your email reply about the Goeschl family. My name is Kay and I am married to Robert Goeschl, Francis G. son. I am extremely interested in getting any information you have re: Franz M. Goschl and Rosalea. I know you Grandmother, (Aunt Flora)had some info, I am especially interested in a copy of his immigration that I saw at her house one time in Santa Barbara. We are going to be in S. Calif in Feb. and wonder if Flora is up for a visit from us? We would love to see some of the family again. Whose child are you? We would love to meet you also.

I was with my grandmother this evening, Helen Goeschl Vernon, she is the 12th and last child of the children. She had a twin that died at birth. As far as I know now she is the last one living of the 12. She is 91 years old. We were talking about family and her memory is good..but not as good as it used to be....so if anyone has any good info. to share about the parents or grandparents ..history that would be great...she did share with me that Francis Xavier Goeschl was named after a famous missionary from Germany.

This is an addendum to my previous post. Francis X G. married Mary Ann Wood, not Woods. Also, I see on another site that my cousin Marj passed in 2006 explaining why I lost touch.

My mother was Anna B. number eleven of twelve, (actually 14 but one died stillborn and one in infancy) from Francis X. and Mary A. (Woods). I have a little info that I gleaned from Francis Jr's brother John before he passed a few years back. M. Parks is my cousin, but I lost touch. I have nothing prior to Max G. and Rosalia,(Müller). Francis was born in Neureichenau, Bavaria,(now Germany). Some of the cousins may have more info. If you are interested in the little I have, reply back and I will try to reply directly.

Mark
